queste sono le ultime notizie in merito a cosa si sta organizzando a glasgow per il prossimo ottobre. charlie and the bhoys suoneranno venerdì 21 ottobre, una serata benefica a favore del Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Appeal. un sito web è anche in programma, per cui se avete o trovate qualsiasi riferimento a john doyle, penso potrete postarlo appena sarà possibile. joanna, la figlia di doyle, si rammarica che io non possa essere presente (ma non importa, spero qualcuno di voi possa esserci) e esprime felicitazioni per il nostro forum, con il corner dedicato a suo padre.

I will have a look at the forum, it is nice to know that people all over the world are learning about my dad :-) I spoke with Charlie & The Boys and they have asked to hold a concert in memory of my dad for his anniversary this year. There will be raffles and prizes and all money raised will go towards the Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Appeal. Only problem is they have booked the concert for Friday 21st October and I remember you saying that you will not be able to attend that weekend. However I will make sure the whole thing is recorded for you so you can have a copy.
The website should be ready to go live in the middle of June hopefully, but I will keep you informed of that.

per il gadget, io avrei trovato un disegno per fare una maglia tshirt commemorativa. il disegno l'ho passato al nostro robylong. si pensava di far produrre la tshirt da claudio a cui stornare l'intero ricavato della vendita. che ne dite? per la trasferta, è sicuro che io non potrò essere a glasgow per il 21/22 ottobre. se volete andarci, sarebbe bello, anche come gruppo s'intende. io penso che sceglierò una data di novembre. HH

How are you? The photos of the AGM looked fantastic!
The celebration for my dad looks to be Friday 21st October however Charlie & The Bhoys are still to confirm this and also where it will be. The website should hopefully be launched at the end of this month or beginning of July and we are having a night to celebrate that to. I will be sure to send you over pictures of the event.

Let me know when your next trip to Glasgow is going to be as it would be great to meet you in person :-)

I spoke to Jimmy from Charlie & The bhoys and he has his sights on a venue for the gig in October, he is in the process of organising it at the moment and told me he would be in touch when it is all settled. I will make a point of meeting you when you are over in December. I apologise for not being in touch sooner, my engagement broke up recently and its been an emotional rollercoaster the past couple of weeks!

I will let you know when Jimmy gets in touch with me again

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the death of John Doyle. Johnny died on 19th Oct 1981. The night will be attended by several of Johnny's team mate and Celtic manager at the time Billy McNeill.

Tickets for this will go like lightening so please be quick.
